Driven by a clever script and fine performances, SMART PEOPLE is set in  the land of academia, a place where both Lawrence (Dennis Quaid) and Vanessa (Ellen Page) have taken refuge and plunged themselves into as escape from the external world. In spite of their high IQs, both father and daughter are equally clueless when it comes to navigating  relationships.

Join Cinema Club for this special screening with special guest Executive Producer Ed Rugoff ’79 for Q & A afterward.

Reception to follow Q & A; refreshments will be served

Edward Rugoff - In addition to his work as Executive Producer on SMART PEOPLE, Ed wears many hats in the film industry.  His body of work includes Mannequin and Mannequin: On the Move (Writer and Executive Producer), Mr. Nanny (Writer), Double Take (Writer) and the documentary Startup.com (Associate Producer).
