We see the benefits of Tisch alumni working for other Tisch alumni, even unpaid. We understand the hardships of the emerging filmmaker, theater producer, image maker, actor or other Tisch artist and the costs involved in getting a project or initiative off the ground. Our office will list what we're calling "Now for Later" opportunities.
We hope that some of these working relationships established now will pay off weeks, months or years down the road -- whereby, whenever paid opportunities arise or jobs come up, you will think of hiring or notifying each other, your Tisch colleagues. To request a posting, complete the online form at Request a Now for Later Job Posting.
We hope those alumni who can afford to pay now will not take advantage of this opportunity for emerging artists, and will list their opportunities through the "Employer Job Posting Form" (http://students.tisch.nyu.edu/object/car_post.html). Please note that the Tisch Career Development Office reserves the right to refuse any posting deemed unacceptable.

Film Documentation Needed: In celebration of the 90th NYC Veterans Day Parade on November 11, NYC Group Tours, the parade's official marching band sponsor is hosting a concert in Times Square next to the statues of Father Duffy and George M Cohan on November 10 (8:30 - 9:00 AM). Over 1200 student musicians and dancers from across America will perform a medley of pop and patriotic tunes as one big band, honoring all our veterans who served and all our servicemen and women still serving. Dr. Kenneth Dye, the renown musical conductor of Notre Dame will be our guest conductor. The arrangements, will be graciously provided by Dr. Dye for the songs performed On Broadway, New York , NY, The Armed Forces Medley and God Bless America. Most of our student-musicians have been preparing for their performance in the parade and concert for more than a year. I would like to document on film excerpts from the concert on November 10 and the parade on November 11 for use on our Web site; I need someone to film and edit these two events. I will give credit to the filmmaker on my website and there may be other opportunities for use, which and will be happy to credit as well. Compensation is open for discussion.
